LADISLAV GARASSY
Subsaharan Africa Expert
Ladislav graduated in Social Geography & Demography and Nuclear Physics. Since 2004, he did election observation for EU, Carter Center and ENEMO in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Zambia, Indonesian Aceh, Ukraine, Malawi and Myanmar/Burma. He is a flood mapping manager and a publicist specialized in geopolitics and ethno-nationalism.
DORIN LOZOVANU
Sout Pacific Expert
Dorin hold a PhD in Population Geography, being the president of Association of Geography and Ethnology of Moldova “EGEA-Moldova”, senior researcher and senior lecturer at research institutions and universities in Moldova and Romania. He conducted several field researches in many regions, such as Balkan, Caucasus, Russia, Northern Europe, Malaysia or New Zealand.
JOSEF ORIŠKO
East Europe Expert
Josef graduated in Cultural Anthropology and Art Science. He worked with the OSCE missions in Kosovo, Georgia, Montenegro and Moldova and with the EU mission in Liberia. He currently lectures on ethnic conflicts and applied anthropology issues at Masaryk University in Brno and acts as the head of the EEECC.

An important aspect of the event that made a big difference and gave it an even more interesting note, was the fact that the persons who were in charge with the seminars had their own personal and lasting experience in the field of anthropology and have been present many times in war torn areas. This enabled them to deliver a very accurate and solid description of what this topic is actually all about.

Začiatkom októbra sme sa vybrali na terénnu exkurziu Kosovo 2014 s organizáciou EEECC (East European Educational and Cultural Center). Podaktorí z nás sa na túto exkurziu podujali s nadšením po predchádzajúcej úspešnej akcií do Západnej Sahary. Tejto exkurzie sa zúčastnili 6 študenti a jeden organizátor, z toho štyria študenti z UCM a dvaja študenti z Brna. Vďaka tejto ponuke sme sa mohli zoznámiť s post-konfliktným Balkánom a jeho históriou, vývojom konfliktov, migráciami, rozvojovou pomocou a v praxi sme pozorovali vzťahy medzi jednotlivými balkánskymi etnikami zasadené do ich každodennosti.

Курсы по миротворческой антропологии, которые прошли в Кишиневе c 7 по 11 мая 2012 года, объединили в качестве слушателей специалистов самых разных направлений: занятия посетили антропологи, историки, политологи, географы, демографы, социологи и даже экологи. Но несмотря на такой разброс в интересах, каждый слушатель нашел что-то важное для себя, открыл для себя что-то новое. Личный опыт работы в миссиях в разных уголках Земли позволил руководителям курса сделать его максимально полезным в практическом отношении, что сегодня, в условиях существования множества конфликтов, остро актуально.
